...and the world spins back into focus.
Yes, I'm back, and yes, it's good to be back! Am very tired though, and very busy (lots of year end stuff to finish before the year's end) and am feeling very dry in general. I have been a very remiss and negligent friend to many out there, to such an extent that I've lost the right to call them friends and really ought to call them friendly accquaintances instead. As orbits shift in this swiftly wilting planet, you drift away from some, draw closer to others. It's just the way things are, but one still can't help feeling sad about it. Irrational, perhaps, but true
The Army is also asphyxiating me. In the words of a colleague, "I really just can't stand all these small people". I'm not against the idea of a national defence system, I just wish it didn't have to be supported by such "small" (non-)individuals.
I hope I get my paths straight before 2005. It may well be be the most exciting year I've had yet.
NB: I've got to reread Madeline L'engle's Swiftly Tilting Planet and Many Waters, especially the later. No particular reason, just feel like it.
