I'll be away on a family trip to Spain/France. I'll be gone till 25th Dec.
That aside, "Ariel: The Restored Edition" is out! Everyone with a dime's worth of lit-sense knows who Plath was, and that the her last anthology (before suicide), Ariel, is one of her most powerful works. But till now, all the past editions of Ariel have gone under the editor's axe, with poems being rearranged, substitued, or even dropped. "Ariel, The Restored Edition" gives back to the reader the actual black binder of manuscripts Plath left behind upon her death. And in so doing we see a very different Plath from the one the editors have portrayed to us thus far.
Oh, and have I mentioned that Christmas is around the corner? Hm.
