And in the latest development, the AFUA EXCO has decided to suspend my membership just before the Annual General Meeting, ensuring that I won't be there to defend myself before my fellow members. What are they afraid of? Why don't they want to talk about the matter? Even during the course of this dispute, I have always given the EXCO their due respect and refrained from offending them, but they have always seemed more than happy to hate my guts, and have mistaken my reconciliatory tone for weakness. More and more, they are treating this like a personal vendetta to be settled in shadowy alleys, instead of a dispute to be settled out in the open.
