Am tired and busy, but this ought to go on record. Big kudos to my beloved Sheesh!ers, who got me my first (and only!) physical birthday cake and present! Haha, it's been a long campy road we've gone down, and one I hope we'll keep on walking along together. Woo!

I rather enjoyed last night's blackout. Ok, well, part of me was worrying that my ice-cream in the fridge was melting away but the other part looked out at the pure moon- and starlit night sky, for once untainted by garish man-made dots, and said "wow." I'd wanted to step outside to take photos (of utter darkness? my cam's flash isn't that good) but dammit, the power went back up just before I could do so. Damn SG for being so efficient. And for saving my ice cream. =p
