A new season blossoms

Yepyep after alot of heming and hawing, I've decided for sure on TWO ArtsFest performance! First is Othello, but Lithuanian theatre company Meno Fortas. 11 June 7:30pm at victoria Theatre. Tix are $22, 32, 42, 52. Anyone else interested?

On another note: I'm such a lucky b*stard to have gotten ONE OF TWO remaining tix left for the Soweto Gospel choir on 5 June, 8pm (night) show! heh so this is a shout-out to anyone interested: GRAB THE LAST TIX BEFORE IT GOES! The last tix was still available as of time of this post's writing. I was amazed to find one tix left, as LIFE! had previously reported the show as "sold out". I was lucky to be curious and check anyway. In future, have made a mental note that "sold out" means "almost sold out" in news parlance. heh.

Of course, there still are (very limited) tix for the matinee, but the night show's always alot better. Cos the performers know it's their last show.

The last show I'm considering is swan Lake City. I'm considering it only so I have a balanced "diet" at the ArtsFest (Othello = theatre, Soweto choir = music, leaving dance empty) It's either Swan Lake or Secreto y Malibu, anyway. Don't know much of dance so the safer options sound, erm, safer. Any expert opinion on this sphere of the arts are welcome!

Ha, I find myself organising arts outings so often, I should set up a yahoogroups so I won't have to SMS countless people to coordinate tix orders. I'll call it who-wants-to-go-for-such-and-such-a-performance-the-company-sucks-but-the-show's-good! =p
