Be well versed in Scripture

I know this is the trillionth time (give or take a million) that I’m saying this, but I’m stupendously busy right now, with all the usual stuff plus driving now that I’m actually hitting the road (not literally I hope). The only reason I look so free is because my schedule is relatively flexible. If something pops up and I’m asked to help, I can usually adapt my schedule to suit, making minor sacrifices (mostly sleep) in the process.

Isaiah 40:30-31

“Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.
They will SOAR on wings like eagles;
they will RUN and not grow weary
they will WALK and not grow faint.”

Really, if this wasn’t written 2000+ years ago I’d swear it was meant for me.

Oh wait, it WAS written 2000+ years ago AND it was meant for me. =p my bad.

Bold vision, deficit budget

Surprise surprise. Nah, I’m not commenting on the Budget as announced by our good DPM. I’m talking about the deficit budget I’m anticipating for MYSELF this month, only the second in my financial history. The culprit? Rampant theatre/concert going. Ack, how can I resist? I La Galigo+ Neri Per Caso +Complete Works of Shakespeare (abridged) + No Parking On Odd Days. Erp.
