Brave New Year

One month of the new year has passed. How fast time flies. (How slow humans act). Have a lot to do this year (what’s new huh?) so to create some semblance of public accountability I’ll list’em out.

• Acting (interim) treasurer for the once-slumbering-now-hopefully-reawakening CAP alumni. Just called up the previous treasurer on record, having obtained contacts. Hopefully will get Alumni’s finances settled by month-end.
• Help Duke by acting as a pseudo-student-at-large in SG. Will offer to speak to successful Duke applicants. Maybe will get to brief next batch of potential Singaporean Angier B. Scholars! Whee.
• Do stuff for church (yeah it’s still pretty vague ATM)
• Lead Sheesh! to greater heights of a cappella performing. To Blue Moo, and Beyond!
• (Help) organise AFUA’s Jazz-Up concert! (venue still yet to be determined)
• Learn driving. Read more, hopefully covering the first year Uni syllabus by 2005.
• Help out with GEP’s 20th anniversary. (write a paragraph, among others)
• Help organize and run CAP 2004 (a FIFTH CAP! Not bad eh?)
• Advise VJ students if am still needed.
• Keep in touch with friends, local and overseas, in this time of separation and isolation.

Coming of Age an Age

Among the other things created in 1984, making them as old as me:
VJC
GEP
BattleTech

What an odd combination.

I must stop the bad habit of using my blog entres as diary entries too. Diary entries should be far more detailed, honest, and unrestrained. I’d hate to read my diary years from now and get only an outsider’s view of my mind at the time.
