Persistently Planning Pre-college prep--psuggestions?

Will be getting free VERY soon (yay), and need things to do (or learn) to keep me occupied. Suggestions? Current list:

1) Learn to cook. (Confirmed) Already under way, me and my ORD fellows are going to take turns being kitchen-host, so I'll have no choice but to learn something sooner or later.
2) Learn to cycle. (Probably) Yes. Ahem. Don't laugh.
3) Help out at VJ. (Almost confirmed) If not officially, as a relief teach (an unlikely prospect at best anyway), I'd still definitely be able to help out with Scholarships, uni applications advice, and the Writers' Circle. Might even be able to give a Lit lecture (it's happened before). Who knows, I could be of general help. WIll see if I actually like this teaching business.
4) Crash NUS. (Maybe) Heh, if I can learn something, why not? Know at least one prof in there, will see if that helps...
5) Help out at church. (Maybe) But ideas are vague at best. Tuition ministry? School can be rather screwed up these days...
6) READ. (Must!) Before Duke finds out I'm not the erudite scholar they bargained for. Lol.
7) Overseas trip. (Possibly) A pre-college adventure with (maybe not-so-)old friends. Hurrah.
