HAPPY BIRTHDAY ME!! haha. Never done this before (yes, I have led a sad deprived childhood. so shutup. =p) Will try to write something more coherent for my birthday post later. If I don't, then you'll know I had a really fun birthday, with not even enough time to write.

Birthday Book Binge
Took a whole day off work to celebrate. In afternoon, went to Orchard with Mom to shop and book-binge. Went to Robinsons’ to look for shoes but didn’t find any decent ones. Went to Times bookstore instead and got God of Small Things (Roy) and To the Lighthouse (Woolf). Trekked to Taka, where found & got a pair of cool brown casual/semi-sports shoes. Then went to Kinokuniya and snagged Susan Sontag’s Where the Stress Falls and Postmodern Singapore. Also had a glance at Governance in Singapore by Ross Worthington—it’s a damn good book but costs $181 (!!). Had an enjoyable rampage through library @ Orchard, where managed to borrow out 8 books. Looks like the books I bought will have to wait—only have 3 weeks to polish off these library books.
And am only halfway through Eye on the Door & Ibsen (memo to self: reading multiple books simultaneously is not good for mental stability). So much reading, so little time! Even if I don’t go blind my brain will explode. Not that I'm complaining.
